I work in the field of theoretical planet formation. My research currently focuses on investigating how the formation of gas giants in the outer disc may affect (or even hinder) the formation of Earth-like planets.

I simulate the growth and evolution of planets using 1D models, as well as N-Body.

This will hopefully help us better understand and constrain the mechanism of planet formation and possibly explain what is the main cause of the differences between our Solar System and the exoplanetary systems that we observe.
