I have interest in social inequality broadly conceived; more precisely in the following five aspects:
-
discrimination
-
gender inequality
-
social mobility
-
education
-
consequences of social media presence.
Methodologically, I conduct survey-based research and I use experimental methods, particularly field experiments, survey experiments, and quasi-experiments, to the research questions I am interested in.
Before joining the University of Copenhagen, I was a postdoc at the Center for the Philosophical-Experimental Study of Discrimination (CEPDISC) located at Aarhus University (where I still maintain an affiliation). Before that, I was a post-doctoral researcher at University of Konstanz, Germany, a PhD researcher in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute, Florence and a Fulbright scholar at Yale University. I hold a Master degree in Sociology from University of Oxford and a Bachelor degree in Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London.
My office hours are on Thursday from 15:30 to 16:30, office: 16.01.54, building 16.
