Researcher in lab
The Globe Institute is part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at University of Copenhagen. Our main purpose is to address basic scientific questions through interdisciplinary approaches. We conduct research into the origin, evolution, diversity and maintenance of the universe, the Earth and life in a changing world, and we have some of the world's leading research groups within the fields of planetary formation, geobiology, ecology, evolution, ancient DNA, biodiversity and macroecology.

There are more than 250 researchers spanning over 30 nationalities at the Globe Institute and our daily language is English. The work culture at Globe institute focuses on synergies rather than individual accomplishments. We aim at giving employees research freedom and responsibility within the vision and mission of the institute, to create trust and a sense of value between colleagues. At the institute, a positive and informal atmosphere has priority.
