I am a classically trained geologist originally focused on structural and metamorphic geology and tectonics but soon moved to U-Pb geochronology and isotope geochemistry of terrestrial rocks, in particular in Precambrian terrains. I gradually moved on to the application of U-Pb and Pb-Pb geochronology on meteorites and their components with a focus on the first five million years of the Solar System. I am currently a Professor of Geochronology at the Globe Institute, University of Copenhagen.
