Primary fields of research

I am interested in the formation and composition of rocky planets both in the context of our own Solar System and around other stars. In my PhD project, I use simulations to study how planetary embryos grow by accretion mm to cm sized solid bodies refered to as pebbles.

Furthermore, I am also interested in the earliest stages of planet formation and the evolution of solid bodies in the protoplanetary disks around young stars.
