CSDE1, previously found upregulated in CRC, was significantly differentially expressed. Using immunohistochemical staining, no sITACs displayed strong and diffuse staining for CSDE1, which represents a potential marker to use in distinguishing sITAC from a metastasis of colorectal origin. This knowledge could improve the diagnostic process and hopefully the outcome in patients with this rare tumor.",
