My scientific field of interest lies mainly in microbial molecular ecology, within which I am interested in understanding how microbial communities interact and affect their environment. A microbial community is composed of complex and highly diverse taxa of microbes, and is thus capable of occupying a broad range of habitats. Therefore, I have naturally a wide curiosity in regards of which environments, ecosystems or hosts the microbes exists in and form a dynamic relationship with.
